WINIL WINE BAR & RESTAURANT
Winil: 1. (Slang) Wine 2. (Slang) Vinyl disks.
Winil is a wine bar & restaurant in Moscow, Russia. It was opened by sommelier Mikhail Volkov featuring his own wine selection. Winil’s wine list is very classical and old-fashioned, it’s focused on european wines, which are usually called traditional: Bourgogne, Alsace, Bordeaux, Mosel, Rheingau Piemonte, etc.
The logo, playing around the idea of wine secrets and the key to them, conveys owner’s passion to the ‘true’ wine and good music. It works along with the simple and even strict visual style of all printed materials and signage, supporting the calm and thoughtful atmosphere of the bar. The use of white and light-grey natural paper adds visual depth and sophistication to the deliverables.
