mandy's apothecary. rebrand.
previously a well-known traditional Irish pub, the venue's turned its positioning towards an asian-inspired pharmacy/bar and restaurant. the nineteen were asked to support such a big change and create a visual language that would blend together classic interior, contemporary cocktails and asian cuisine into a solid and lasting concept.
we took inspiration from the balance idea: same as the venue combines eastern and western gastronomic traditions under one roof, the visual language mixes the magical, alchemical and graphical languages from the past and present.
the brand's metaphor is a modern history of an archetypical pharmacy that's existed simultaneously everywhere in all times. and, as a multi-cultural phenomena, the venue's identity can evolve in the future without losing its essence.
